Robert Millar, 93, passed away peacefully on September 19. Born in Fort St. John, BC, he moved to Buckingham, QC, as a boy and was raised by his aunt, Edna. He married his high school sweetheart, Lillian Laforce (predeceased), and they shared 70 wonderful years together.
Robert is survived by their children, Susan (Pierre), John (Lise), Jennifer (Louis André), and Bill, along with grandchildren Jessica, Kate, and Robyn. Family time at the log cottage he and Lil built on the Lièvre River remains a cherished tradition.
Bob dedicated 43 years to ERCO Industries and excelled as a goaltender, golfer, and gardener. In retirement, he and Lil enjoyed over 25 winters in Florida, forging lasting friendships.
The family thanks the caring staff at the nursing home in Buckingham. In keeping with Robert’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
