It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved Bob, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and best friend Ben, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the age of 68 years. Devoted husband of Nancy Pearson for 41 years. Loving son of the late Gilles Landry and Joy Hewson. Dear brother to Richard (Louise), Denyse and Paul (Brenda). Loving Son-in-Law of Ethel. Fond Brother-in-Law of Bruce, Reg, Grant and Jeff Pearson.
Bob was remarkable man who fought the greatest battle of his life unyielding courage and great spirit. His journey taught us that bravery is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to confront it head on. We will miss him immeasurably but know that his spirit will forever live in our hearts.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Guilbeault and Lyne for their compassion and support and to his loyal friend Ben who was always at his side.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at the Knight of Columbus, 480 rue des Pins, Gatineau (Buckingham), Qc, on Friday, April 26 from 1 to 4 PM.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donation to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
C’est avec le Coeur lourd que nous vous faisons part du décès de notre bien-aimée Bob, paisiblement à la maison, entouré de sa famille et de son meilleur ami Ben, le mardi 9 avril 2024, à l’âge de 68 ans. Il était l’époux dévoué de Nancy Pearson depuis 41 ans, le fils aimant de feu Gilles Landry et de Joy Hewson, le frère de Richard (Louise), Denyse et Paul (Brenda), le gendre aimant d’Ethel ainsi que le beau-frère de Bruce, Reg, Grant et Jeff Pearson.
Bob était un homme remarquable qui a mené la plus grande bataille de sa vie avec un courage inébranlable et un grand esprit. Son parcours nous a appris que la bravoure n’est pas l’absence de peur, mais la volonté de l’affronter de front. Il nous manquera énormément, mais sachez que son esprit vivra à jamais dans nos cœurs.
Nous tenons à exprimer notre sincère gratitude au Dre Guilbeault et à Lyne pour leur compassion et leur soutien ainsi qu’à son fidèle ami Ben qui était toujours à ses côtés.
Une célébration de la vie pour la famille et les ami(e)s aura lieu à la salle des Chevaliers de Colomb 480, rue des Pins, Gatineau (Buckingham), Qc, le vendredi 26 avril de 13h à 16h.
Pour ceux qui le souhaitent, au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer seraient appréciés.
