Rita (O’Neill) Tremblay
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on May 31, 2021 at La Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie in her 103rd year. Cherished wife of the late Yves Tremblay. Daughter of the late William Sabinus O’Neill and late Rose Edna McCormick. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen, and her brothers William, Desmond (late Doris Lavell) and Gerald (late Louise Cassasa). Loving mother of Maureen, Anne-Louise (Gaston Robitaille), O’Neill, Mary Ann (Fred Hartstock), and Stephen (Peggy French). Much-loved grandmother of Alainna (Jeremy), Bryan (Veronique), and Yves, and step-great-grandmother of Coralie (Mikey). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Buckingham followed by interment in St-Grégoire-de-Nazianze Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff at La Gappe Residence for their care during the last six years and the palliative support staff at La Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie in Gatineau for their exceptional care and compassion during Rita’s final days.
