Joey Berndt passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2023 at the age of 46.
He will be remembered with much love by his wife of 17 years, Brenda Price, his two children, Alyssa and Zane, his parents Dunnie and Gladys Berndt as well as a long list of family members of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Joey was an avid lover of the outdoors and spent most of his time out in the woods at his hunting camp or in the waters of whitefish. Observing Joey in his natural habitat was a sight to see – he truly was the most happy when he was in the water, snorkeling or spear fishing as well as amongst the trees, hunting and quietly taking in nature. His love for the outdoors brought out the natural and easy going spirit that was Joey.
Joey has left many meaningful and happy memories for those who knew and loved him. As Joey celebrated life, no formal funeral is being planned, instead, he will be honored with a Celebration of Life to be held at the Buckingham Legion (176, Joseph st, Buckingham, QC, J8L 1G5) on May 25, 2024, from 2pm to 6 pm.
