It is with a great sadness that we announce the passing of
Jean-Eudes ‘’John’’ Savoie
On March 19, 2023, at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste Savoie and Justine Gionet, his brother Georges as well as two brother’s in law Ronald and Henry. He leaves his loving wife Paulette McQuaig, his children’s Rosalie (Gerry), Jean-Guy (Diane), Robert (Suzanne) and Raymond (Caroline); his grandchildren’s Matthieu, Patrick, Mathieu, Éric, Alexandre, Chanel, Chloé and Aly; his great grandchild Jakob; his brother Ronald (Fernande), his brother’s in law Rick, Sean and Wesley; his sister’s in law Linda, Rita, Dee, Wendy, Fernande and Madeleine as well as many family and friends.
Family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 11 to 12 pm at Cadieux Funeral Homes, 322 Buckingham ave., Gatineau (Buckingham Sector).
Family wish to thank the staff from the second floor of the long-term care of the Buckingham Hospital for their good care.
In his memory, donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society.

le 19 mars, 2023, à l’âge de 87 ans. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents: Jean-Baptiste Savoie et Justine Gionet, son frère: Georges ainsi que 2 beaux-frères: Ronald et Henry. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Paulette McQuaig; ses enfants: Rosalie (Gerry), Jean-Guy (Diane), Robert (Suzanne) et Raymond (Caroline); ses petits-enfants: Matthieu, Patrick, Mathieu, Éric, Alexandre, Chanel, Chloé et Aly; son arrière-petits-fils Jakob; son frère Ronald (Fernande), ses beaux-frères: Rick, Sean et Wesley; sa belle-soeur: Linda, Rita, Dee, Wendy, Fernande et Madeleine ainsi que plusieurs parents et ami(e)s.
La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 25 mars 2023, de 11h à 12h à la maison funéraire Cadieux, 322 avenue de Buckingham, Gatineau (Secteur Buckingham).
La famille aimerait remercier le personnel du 2e étage des soins longues durées de l’hôpital de Buckingham pour les excellents soins prodigués.
En sa mémoire, des dons à la fondation d’Alzheimer seraient appréciés.
